Earlier this month we shared the release of the RP2350 from Raspberry Pi.
As an official Raspberry Pi Design Partner, we were sent a bunch of chips months in advance of the official launch.
As well has having a good ‘ole play, we designed and built our very own RP2350 dev board.
Features include:
- Battery and solar input power options
- Temperature, pressure and humidity sensors
- Microphone
- Two ADC inputs
- Three addressable RGB LEDS
- Built in RTC
- Two PWM outputs
Rather than wax lyrical about the design process or what potential you could achieve with our board… or even what it means to be an official Raspberry Pi Design Partner…. We’ll just hand over to our hardware engineer Katie who was at the helm of the project.
“Working with the RP2350 has been fun!
It felt special to get our hands on the chip – way in advance of anyone else. Raspberry Pi make great products, they’re reliable and accessible, perfect for seasoned engineers and beginners alike!
As well as being a professional engineer, I am a hobbyist too. So, I’ve designed our dev board for nerds (just like me) in mind.
This board is something I would get excited about using at home and I hope other people feel that same sense of excitement when they try it out. It’s been an absolute dream to make our dev board and I’m looking forward to seeing what cool projects people create with it.”
