The role will involve working with, and providing support and assistance, to our team of cross-disciplined developers and engineers, as well as the wider business, as part of the Technical Delivery Department.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- A National Certificate in Electronics or similar in a related discipline
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Well organised and able to meet deadlines
- Regularly keep up to date with latest technology and has personal interests/projects in technology
- An interest in and desire to learn about embedded engineering
- The drive to work within an organisation that has ethical values
CANDIDATE SKILLS
- Electronics fault finding experience
- A good level of English and PC literacy, particularly in MS office
- Experience with devices such as Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pico and Arduino
- A valid UK driving license, as visits to other sites will occasionally be required
- Fault finding to component level
- Knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuits
- Procedure of parts, resources, and services in relation to company equipment and development
- Construction and test of prototype and production assemblies, sub-systems and completed systems
- Hand soldering skills (Surface mount and through-hole technologies)
- Understanding of safe use of hand and powered tools

- Experience of programming in languages such as C or Python especially in an embedded environment
