We are up for Design Team of the Year and Start-up Electronics Business of the Year in the Elektra Awards 2021. We wouldn’t be four years in without our amazing customers, employees and partners.
Designing products that go on to change people’s lives, make us go wow every time we open our #wins channel and literally take our breath away makes it all worthwhile.
You can’t be up for Design Team of the Year without engineers and managers that share great ideas, adapt to every challenge thrown at us and navigate customers through the often complex product development process.

Entrepreneurship
Our MD Richard Fletcher built Ignys Ltd from scratch founding the company on 26th July 2017. He built a team of problem-solving engineers and creators who together created a set of core company values including Innovation With A Heart and Mutual Wins.
He has some very ambitious plans for the future of the business stretching way into the future. He also places a strong focus on mental health within the business and was instrumental in building a strong support network around our team during the pandemic with bi-weekly virtual coffee meetings, weekly 1 to 1 check ins and our popular #Wins and #Rants channels on Slack. You can even take part in our digital wellbeing survey as a tool to help you assess your own lifestyle to consider if Nomophobia is a problem for you.
Highly Commended for Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 and Finalist for the same award in 2022. Wish Richard good luck!
In addition Richard was nominated in 2020 for the Nottingham category of the East Midlands Business Awards Entrepreneur of the Year award and he is a finalist again for 2021, wish us luck!
