We’re delighted to finally be able to share the news that a new family of microcontrollers, the RP2350 from Raspberry Pi has launched today!
As an official Raspberry Pi Design Partner, we’ve had access to the chip for a while and have been tinkering away with it for the last few months.
What’s new?
It has a host of features and enhancements that make it outperform the RP2040, with more powerful Cortex-M33 processors, a pair of Hazard3 RISC-V processors, 12 PIO state machines and secure boot functionality allowing secure software updates via the cloud! Check out our spec list below for a more extensive feature list.
Over the coming weeks we’re going to share with you a little of what we’ve achieved using Raspberry Pi’s latest hardware.
In the meantime, here are a few words from our engineers…
Â
What our engineers think about the RP2350
“With the number of IoT projects we have coming up, we are very excited to make full use of the new security features being introduced with the new RP2350. This, along with the addition of RISC-V cores, is sure to mean exciting times to be working on RP based projects!”
Tom

“Being new to the microcontrollers, I was pleasantly surprised as to how good the RP2350 and its ecosystem is – even in early pre-production form.”
Pete
“It is always exciting to get early access to new tech, especially when it comes from Raspberry Pi. We’ll be working with the RP2350 for the foreseeable and I can’t wait to see how it takes off once it’s in the public domain.”

Why we love Raspberry Pi
We’ve been official Raspberry Pi partners for just a smidge under three years now and we’re still as engaged with their products as ever before.
We’ve watched the Pi grow from “credit card sized computer” through several iterations, each time impressing with increased processing power and connectivity, keeping them relevant and powering the imaginations of entrepreneurs and engineers alike.
They’re affordable and accessible, making them a great entry point for budding engineers, while the versatility and the extensive online community means there’s plenty for the more seasoned of us to keep on coming back to.
Do you have a Raspberry Pi based product you’d like some help with?
As an official design partner there’s not a lot of applications and issues we’ve not tackled and overcome – when it comes to Raspberry Pi tech. Are you currently facing a problem that’s holding up your product roadmap, costing you time and budget? Contact us today for a non-sales, no obligation chat.
We love problem solving with a Pi!
